I am Maurice Jager, photographer, entrepreneur, and above all a family man. Together with my wife Dayna, I not only run my photography business, but we fill our lives with the precious moments that family brings us. For me, photography is not just about beautiful images, but also about capturing emotions, memories and the people who matter.

From the moment I started my career as a photographer, my goal has always been to bring out the best in people. Whether it's a business profile photo or a family portrait, my passion lies in telling stories through images. Since 2011, I have helped businesses, professionals and families present themselves in the most beautiful way, and that is something I enjoy every single day.

During my youth, it was all about sports. Being the best and training hard for it. That was daily life. When that came to an abrupt end after a traffic accident, I had to look for something new. Learning why people choose a particular company or brand and how to successfully present a business creatively on the internet became my new challenge, and I spent ten years leading various departments in large companies.

Gradually, the creative part of the work became smaller and the commercial objectives became more important, and I lost interest in the work. I increasingly felt I had to embark on a new path.

I had been photographing for years, and it was at that moment that I decided to become a full-time photographer. Until then, I had always been about bringing out the best in people. With the help of top photographer Peter Hurley, I seized the opportunity to build a successful business with my camera, and every day I help companies and professionals to perfectly present themselves on social media and beyond.

My competitive nature ensures that I am now Europe's top headshot photographer.

I worked with Peter Hurley for years to build the HeadshotCrew.com platform, the largest network of headshot and portrait photographers worldwide, but found a new passion in helping photographers build their personal brand.

With my book 'Personal branding for photographers', I reach Dutch photographers and help other photographers in the Netherlands become more successful.

There is now also an international podcast called 'Personal branding for photographers' with about 500 monthly listeners.

I also speak for sponsors worldwide about my profession and share my knowledge with other entrepreneurs who want to use the power of imagery in their marketing and branding campaigns.

Because I am able to articulate what is being asked and intended, and am an innovator in photography, I am regularly asked for interviews in magazines and on radio and TV.

I am also a family man. Together with my wife Dayna, we share what we find important in photography and media.

Today, my work is not just a profession, but a part of my life. My wife Dayna and I work together in our business. We are also committed to capturing what truly matters - both professionally and personally. Since January 27, 2025, we are the proud parents of our daughter Luna. This adventure only makes everything more beautiful.
