Whenever I'm in New York and it fits the schedule, I always want to meet up with John and run around with a camera to shoot some new images for my own content library. Sinds 2011 verzorgt Maurice HIGH-END Portretfotografie in Nederland, Europa en vanuit New York.

Maurice Jager is fotograaf, spreker, auteur, podcasthost en wordt regelmatig gevraagd voor TV.

Ik ben Maurice Jager, fotograaf, ondernemer, en vooral familieman. Samen met mijn vrouw Dayna run ik niet alleen mijn fotografiebedrijf, maar vullen we ons leven met de waardevolle momenten die het gezin ons biedt. Fotografie draait voor mij niet alleen om mooie beelden, maar ook om het vastleggen van emoties, herinneringen en de mensen die er toe doen.

Vanaf het moment dat ik mijn carrière als fotograaf begon, was het altijd mijn doel om het beste uit mensen te halen. Of het nu gaat om een zakelijke profielfoto of een familiefoto, mijn passie ligt in het vertellen van verhalen door middel van beelden. Sinds 2011 heb ik bedrijven, professionals en gezinnen geholpen om zich op hun mooiste manier te presenteren, en dat is iets waar ik elke dag weer van geniet.

Mijn leven heeft me veel geleerd: van de sportvelden, waar ik de beste wilde zijn, tot de wereld van fotografie, waar ik mijn passie vond. Toen mijn leven een nieuwe wending nam toen sport wegviel, besloot ik na jaren een kantoorbaan te hebben gehad, alles op alles te zetten en fulltime fotograaf te worden. Het was mijn manier om creatief te zijn en tegelijkertijd iets waardevols voor anderen te betekenen.

Vandaag de dag is mijn werk niet alleen een beroep, maar een deel van mijn leven. Mijn vrouw Dayna en ik werken samen in ons bedrijf. We zetten ons ook in voor het vastleggen van wat er echt toe doet – zowel op professioneel als persoonlijk vlak. Sinds 27 januari 2025 zijn wij samen de trotse ouders van onze dochter Luna. Dit avontuur alleen maar mooier.
