TETHER TOOLS NEW PRO AMBASSADOR MAURICE JAGER
Tether Tools welcomes photographer Maurice Jager to our Tether Tools Pro Ambassador Team.
Tether Tools added me to the Pro team yesterday. Tether Tools is proud to support independent and commercial photographers and filmmakers worldwide. We’re honored to have some of the best professionals in the business shooting with our gear and we hope you enjoy their work as much as we do. The photographers in the Pro team are masters of their craft and can often be found working and teaching with Tether Tools gear. As ‘Europe’s premiere headshot photographer’, I’m now among the big names like, Scott Kelby, Joe McNally, Frank Doorhof, Glyn Dewis and ofcourse Peter Hurley. I think it’s really amazing that my face is now listed on a page with people to whom I looked up for many years and who helped me figure out how a camera and photography works.

TETHER TOOLS?
Tether Tools is a company based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Tether Tools develops gear for photographers and videographers which helps them work better on location. Among other things, I love to work with my ‘Aero Table’. It’s a really lightweight table which I can attach to a light stand to have a place for my laptop to sit at. It helps me shooting a lot, because I now can show my clients the results on my computer. With the Tether Tools USB cable and a TetherBoost, I have a worry-free connection between my camera and my MacBook. The images literally shoot on-screen.
I’ve been working with Tether Tools gear for years and I’m very proud to be part of their Pro Team now.
This is what Tether Tools writes about me on their website:
“Maurice Jager is one of Europe’s premiere headshot photographers. Maurice’s childhood and youth evolved around sports. Pushing hard to be the best on the pitch was his daily routine. When that ended abruptly because of an injury due to a traffic accident he needed to find a new direction. Figuring out what drives people drew his interest and marketing became the name of the new game and he jumped straight in and led several departments in the corporate world for almost a decade. While time passed, the job jumped the shark as the creative aspect of the job diminished and the commercial goals became overly important for his taste. He felt he needed yet again to make a change in his life. Maurice has been photographing for years already and that’s when he decided to take up photography full-time. Up until then Maurice always worked with people and tried to get the best out of them. Headshot and portrait photography is exactly what ties it all together. His competitive nature got him to be one of the premiere headshot photographers in Europe and the Chief Marketing Officer at the HeadshotCrew. Thanks to Peter Hurley, he’s been given the opportunity to teach headshot and portrait photographers both online and in-person to build their portfolio and business. Besides that, Maurice’s workshops also include the use of CaptureOne, Photoshop, social branding and marketing.”
